    Ain't that the truth! That's why they were used as "guard dogs" in some cultures in ancient and mediaeval times, I think it was the Roman Army that started the trend...

    I dont do much bird photos, but I was downtown Barrie last week and snapped this photo:



    I think it turned out all right.

    These 2 birds are rescues.

    The toucan was incredibly difficult to get a shot of...aside from the fact that he wouldn't stop jumping around...ISO 1000, through mesh wire, no flash (or else it threw wire shadows everywhere), 1/40 sec, f/5.6/ @ 112mm with my 18-200. Oy...what a headache!



    This macaw was a little more cooperative...ISO 320, 1/80, f/8, 112mm
