    Hahaha I like that shot a lot drama!

    Drew--more specifically, I like the contrast between the black & white bird and the vibrant yellows and greens of the background.

    Kingfishers are difficult to get close to, especially with a 200 mm lens

    Nope. Juvenile Cooper's hawk, I think. Maybe an intermediate juvenile western redtail, but it doesn't look like the underside of his tail is rusty colored.
