    This is the closest I have ever come to a bird of this type; they are so small and fly away so quickly...

    A couple shots

    Here's what i spent most of my day off doing yesterday.
    The Baby Goslings are getting bigger. You can see them starting to develop their markings


    Yellow Warbler, these birds have a nice song.

    Tree Swallow

    The Great Blue Heron, again

    Brown Pidgeon

    Female House Finch

    Red Wing Black Bird


    Comments are welcome. I'm even open to critiscm. I'm still new at this and end up deleting more than i keep.

    Overhead formation

    At my son's soccer game this squadron flew overhead. Attachment 13136

    Nikon D50
    Nikon 70-210mm
    Sorry the image is a little soft, it was a spontaneous picture. The people around me thought I was a little odd shooting like a mad man with my lens pointed into the sky. Oh well, c'est la vie.

    I think they are ibis. I only know a few of the species and ibis is one of them. We have a lot of herons, egrets, cranes and ibis' in the area.
