I just wanted to share a couple last pics from my trip to the west coast of Florida (Clearwater/St. Pete area). I thought these pics were pretty interesting, especially the night shots (I didn't have a tripod...except the rail!!!) The night shot of the city is one that I have wanted to take for a while. I'm always in awe of the night shots posted here, so I've always wanted to try one. In the picture, it kinda looks as if I have a little flare in there which I thought was odd... but still satisfied. Thanks for lookin'!
Taken with Canon EF-S 18-55mm (kit lens) @ 1/640s, f/18, 55mm, ISO 800 (don't ask me why it was this fast...hehe)

Reason: added lenses used and exposure settings...
Canon 350D, Canon S500 Canon 50, Sigma 18-125, Tamron 75-300 I "shoot" things, then put pictures of them on the internet Take a peek!
Outsiders may well think we are 'anoraks' for putting in all our settings - but imersing ourselves in them helps us to intuitively know what we are doing when it's important.!
Q B@LL ~I love the night shot! Did you use a star burst filter?
Keep them coming.

Geoff: I really don't have any filters aside from the UV filter...hehe. That was just with the lens. Dunno why it came out like that, but it's interesting none the less
Bluedog: I don't really know what the problems are with the kit lens, but then again, I'm really just a novice in this stuff. Thanks again for the comments!
