USDA Choice New York Steak Teriyaki

This place really makes nice stuff. They use USDA Choice NY Steak for their "Beef Teriyaki" and cook it to order (medium rare is best of course!). Notice the grill marks. This is the best BT I've had in the Bay Area by far.

    Toro - Fatty Tuna Belly
This is the highest grade of Toro and costs $10 a pop. Yes , $10.

For you sushi lovers, Toro is graded according to its fattiness. This one sits at the top at about 50% fat content. Below that is chutoro which has about half the fat. At the bottom is standard toro which has even less. It really is worth every penny to get the good stuff.

    Uni - Sea Urchin Roe

Good Uni tends to have a pumpkin golden color like the on in this picture. It should hold together well and should have a creamy consistency. The best uni takes on the flavor of its environment and should NEVER be bitter.

The legendary Blue Apple of E. 57th Street. According to legend, the one who possesses the apple gets to buy at least 2 cameras per year...

Great job everyone! I'll hopefully have a new batch of photos coming in Saturday night (that's when I go out every week).
