Who offers the best online gallery package?
1. I want to be able to hyperlink images to message boards/ebay.
2. I do not care about buying prints.
3. Cosmetically appealing would be nice but not a must.
4. I would like to have the option to password protect certain albums if needed.

I used imagestation a long time ago and at the time they didn't allow hyperlinking. Maybe they changed their policy since then.

Very easy to use, and visually great posting site, that lets you link to forums like this one, don't have to downsize photos to upload, just a joy to use. http://www.smugmug.com - If you decide to use it, please use my e-mail as a referral: JohnReed@circuitexpert.com

One of the best hosting site
I am looking for a good hosting site too. After visiting several sites, including those posted here, I like PBase.com the most so far: very fast, larger photo size, and affortable prices (about $25 a year). Many great artistic photos are hosted there.
http://www.pbase.com/
If I'm a professional photographyer and money is not an issue, I would choose this one, which costs $20 per month http://www.foliolink.com/
I find Smugmug.com slow in displaying photos and the photo size is smaller than PBase.com.

Galler packages
I use Smugmug and it has a lot of great features. You can even use photos with journal entries alongside. Has unlimited room, you can allow many levels of safety...... And it will not break the bank.
Ciao
