    It's been a long time since I've had something worthy to contribute! Some of the shots in this thread are unbelievable!

    At this point, I'm thinking that I really don't need a DSLR...

    What kind of lenses do you guys use? Like size? Those pictures are so crisp, I can never seem to get those kind of pictures. I would assume its my lense. Whats the average settings you guys are using?

    Eyelab let us know what camera and lenses you are using ? I use Sigma 70-300 apo macro or 18-125 with a 2X converter which doubles magnification but keeps the same focus length

    Ha ha! I am stuck with the lens on my camera, since it's an ultrazoom (S2)...but a damn fine lens it is...

    This "big" guy was a little less than an inch in diameter with his legs spread out. Canon Powershot S2 IS in Super Macro mode, cropped, and unsharp mask.
