    Here's my contribution

These are a few of my macros I've taken with my FZ20. The first one is a bit off from everyone else's but it's small and an animal (I'm not a plant...) It's a self portrait of my eye that I took a day or so after getting my camera. The rest were taken with the FZ20 and either a Nikon 5T or 6T closeup lens or combination of both.

Here is a small dragon fly I saw the other day.

This one is a very small spider that was floating his web into the wind to get off that leaf.

This is another very small spider. It's maybe 1cm around.

These last ones are of a Wolf spider I found in my back yard one night. I had my wife hold a flashlight on him so I could make sure my focus was right.

This one turned cannibal when a smaller wolf spider walked in front of it. You can see the small spider in it's fangs.

This one has a water roach in it's fangs.

Now a super closeup of it's face. Notice the spider equivalent of red-eye. Their eyes reflect light with a bluish-green color.

    green color.

    creepy

I love this thread and check it everyday. The photos are amazing. I'm adding this just so when I check "last page" I don't have to look at the spider so close - don't mind the ones further back but cannot look at the very close up ones - but I'm sure they're wonderful too! Hopefully this started a new page for all to add to.

    thanks
