    I go for no.3 too, excellent one. 105vr is not A macro lens but THE macro lens ...

    It looks like a wasp to me by its abdomen, but besides that I don't know.

    I've just noticed the thread title is insects not macro. I'm a little embarrased to have posted a sea horse.
