Veru good photo, Rooz. The transparancy and the eight eyes are quite amazing, and you seem to have found the right balance in depth of field in that photo.
Very nice colours, that red and that yellow. Most of the times i do not like the dark background that comes with flash macro photography, but in this photo it looks just right.

I can see you are enjoying your new Sigma macro

That is a gorgeous photo of that dragon fly, drama.
I see you had to crop it a lot. Lucky that that 70-200 f4 has such a gorgeous bokeh!

I use the 1.7x TC to get "closer" with that lens.
I would love to have made this photo myself, my compliments on the unusual view point and lovely colour and composition.

thank you coldy, i am on a steep learning curve but i have a pretty good teacher. http://www.flickr.com/photos/xtwizx/920327575/ probably the best insect macro photography i have ever seen.

actually i did cheat a little again. i found him on a green leaf, (by accident), and took some photos but it didn't work without the contrast and dramatic colour. so i moved him onto a red flower to get some bold colour into the shot.

unfortunately despite all my attempts he would not stay in the center of the flower. i think the shot would have been much better if i had the frame in red with just the green spider on it. next time !

Rooz, that's an amazing shot. Love it.

Jarett, welcome to the forum! Great macros. I love the sharpness. Did you take them with a Fuji 6000fd?
