A Black Wasp
This shot I took because it was there. This wasp was not going anywhere soon. It looked like it had reached old age and gave up the ghost.

Hi BE & Jeff,
Just wanted to express my admiration of your consistently great output. Macro-photography really does open up whole new worlds to experience.
Jeff, I'm amazed at the variety of insects you seem to have in France. Are all your shots taken in the wild?

Thank you very much for the kind words. I am totally Macro at this point, there is sooo much we miss out on by not looking closely around us.
