DiJ, thank you very much for the kind words. The D60 was my introduction into DSLR photography. I've had the Nikon Fe2 and the Canon AE-1 prog. in 35mm, but I've got to say, Digital is infinitely more rewarding. Thanks again.
Agree. Hey film cameras give give great results. I love the feel of a full manual SLR. But having to wait for photos to be developed. Thats really a pain.
Hows your chick doing with the 300d?
1. It was dark there and I didn't have tripod.
2. The grasshopper were behind the glass so I was careful not to have reflection from glass.
3. Restless nosy kids were around me They wanted to see my LCD so I switched to EVF
I took 5 shots under BKT mode and selected the best one.
Camera: C-765 with macro (not S-macro).
Comments? Suggestions?
Edit: I have discovered that it is better to use EVF than LCD because in EVF you know the exact amount of light you need for your snap as LCD preview is effected by the angle of sight (you and LCD) and surrounding light. Well, this is my opinion.
oh! and one more thing. Save the image in your local HDD.
Right click on it.
On menu, click on properties.
select 'Summary' Tab
Click Advanced.
Here you have all the picture data
this one of mine is a saltatory spider (a jumping spider) at the moment of imapct with its prey--another spider. all this happened 15 feet up on the wrong side of a tree.
ali baba--maybe you shoudl hhave focussed on;y on the insect on the right?!
the other ones don't add htat much to the scene. did you use a flash? if you were in just macro, you might used some extra light!
