Time for a Dragonfly
Out yesterday at the local nature center. Caught this dragonfly. I am always fascinated that they seem so territorial about their specific twigs.

Now to prevent the dragonfly thread from taking over I figure I will post an Eastern Swallowtail and the only Monarch I saw (one wing was a little ratty).

Kushnirenko, interesting pollen on those bees. I don't recall seeing any looking so large on the bees I capture.

Took a hike in the hills this afternoon and cam e across this red-spotted purple butterfly. He was still on the same plant when I walked out about an hour later. This was a little overexposed, but it's the only one where he was not half in shadows.
