Now to prevent the dragonfly thread from taking over I figure I will post an Eastern Swallowtail and the only Monarch I saw (one wing was a little ratty).
Took a hike in the hills this afternoon and cam e across this red-spotted purple butterfly. He was still on the same plant when I walked out about an hour later. This was a little overexposed, but it's the only one where he was not half in shadows.
Like the swallowtail Kgosden. Wow I've not seen a bee look like that Kushnirenko.
