Hi,
New here, I put up my little introduction in the Introduce Yourself topic, so I won´t go into that here .
I was playing around with macro shooting yesterday. My photos show how my memory failed me. A couple years ago, I took a Photography 101 course, and one of the lessons was the DOF thing - well, after not using a camera pretty much since taking that course, I remembered it backwards. SO, now I have it stuck in my little brain - bigger aperture means SMALLER DOF - I hope I have that correct now.
Also, GREAT photos, everybody.
Sorry everybody, I thought I shrunk the photos down enough to fit on the page. I guess PhotoShop´s 4" X 6" is too big? Maybe somebody can explain that stuff for those of us who are new to this digital world .
Hi again,
I know this is a forum about digital photos, but this was one of my favorites - took it with my AE1 4 or 5 years ago. I was using those little magnifiers that thread onto the end of the lens - don´t remember exactly which lens I was using. I promise I´ll work on getting the photos down to the right size to fit here.
Ok, one more before I have to get out of here. Took this one a few months ago with my little Canon A80.
I hope to get time later, or maybe tomorrow to see the rest of what´s in this topic, I´m on something like page 10, great stuff! Oh yeah, some of you deleted or moved your files, put them back, please .
Welcome, fidlin! I really like that last one, the one taken with the A80.
By the way, your pictures look just about the right size to me. 700 - 800 pixels wide is a good size for these forums--big enough to look good, but not so big that people have to scroll sideways.
