A Photo of the Moon

Here's a shot of the moon that I took some time back with my Lumix FZ-20. Feedback is welcome.

Very good Gary. I struggle @ night getting the exposure correct. What settings did you accomplish it with?

i love both of those pics. i like the one taken during the day, one of my favorite things is to see the moom in a blue sky-loved it since i was a kid. here's a shot i took a couple of weeks ago on my EX P-600. it was taken at 4X optical zoom handheld(didn't have a tripod at the time), f/4.3, 1/80th sec, appeture priority and using the cameras spot metering. hope you like and feel free to C&C.

That's great - it's really hard to get one like that was it a very long zoom or lots of crop

Actually it was a combination of both. I am using a Canon EOS D60 with a 100-300 telephoto lens with 2x converter on tripod with remote shutter release, settings are ISO at 100, 5.6 at f8 On Av on manual focus. The 2x converter is a new addition, great to have. There was some cropping as well and minor sharpening. thanks for the kind words, will be practicing a lot more.

waitaminute ... 300mm lens * 2x teleconverter * 1.6 digital crop factor = 960mm equivalent FOV?!? sweet!
