BE - you've done it again - wonderful set of pics!!!
Took a few today - first a wild sweet pea in the front garden; -
(Only trimmed/croped & resized - A-200 as usual)
Here's one for opinions/comments :-
I played in Serif (like Photoshop) with this one as it is a bit of a dark, quite strong red, flower and hard to reproduce accurately - obviously no one will have seen the orig so it is really a subjective opinion. Rachel prefers the orig as it is brighter.

For the comparison - this is the orig - just re-sized...
I too like the amended version best - the dark shadows add a lot of depth and richness to my eye. Both very choice shots of a difficult coloured subject.
Here are some Astrantia [Hattie's Pincushion] flowers. I really like taking shots of these, the subtle colours photograph well and the shapes and shadows are just great. These were taken in dappled sunlight. They tend to flower in groups so getting a singleton is nigh impossible. A possible job for photoshop when I have saved up my pocket-money.
