My wife took this shot at the Butchart Gardens, Vancouver Island, on our recent trip to Canada. Canon S95 in Program mode, 1/125, f/4.9, ISO 100. The trouble with the Gardens is one can easily run out of memory card space -- it's a photographer's (and gardener's) paradise. Note the coins on the leaves -- every little bit helps the maintenance crew's retirement fund!

Nikon D7000 and a bunch of Nikon stuff — oh, and some Canon p&s's too
Time for the semi-annual orchid show at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Decided to play with the flash this visit. Cannot really setup a tripod which makes macro work a challenge (against the rules in theory although no one cares on light attendance days).
Spring finally feels like it arrived in Atlanta. Our cherry trees are putting on a good show. Took this with the XZ-1, transferred to my Nexus 7 via a PQI AirCard microSD adapter. Then used Snapseed for a little post processing. Part of my continued experiments in reducing my travel kit for backpacking and other adventure.
