Wonderful photo. Love the mood it creates.
How are you liking your E-5?

Thanks all. I must admit to adding a little of the softness via PS. A few of the off center flowers were in a bit too sharp focus for the effect I wanted. Added a gradient mask around the central flower and some lens blur to dull the intruders. I generally like the flowers best before they turn full on blue. They always seem to be so pastel that soft focus treats them well.

The E-5 has been great. I do miss having a few direct access buttons, but I have not decided which to try and program just yet. I am quite happy with being able to shoot at ISO 800 with only a little drop in IQ.

Some great flower shots on here guys, nicely done. Have been trying to shoot a peony recently but the red has defeated me so far, just can't get it to look right. Anyway had a go at a small dog rose in the evening light today.

    Phil,
Great detail in those shots. What kind of distance do you get from the subject with the 35mm macro? I have the 50mm sometimes it is just too close. On that second shot I would consider a little Photoshop blur on the green outside the bloom. Being that crisp it tends to pull the eye to the edge of the frame.
