Then I spotted one of our friendly English Bees.
Thought: Must get one of those amazing close up lenses like jeff31
This is a bit cropped as he was flying around quite quickly - no time for nice composition! I had to guess where he would go next and wait to snap quickly as he only stopped for about 1 sec on each flower.

    Geoff and Jason A-

Many thanks for the wonderful photos! They are lovely. We are just about to head off out the door to China for 26+ days, but I thought that I would make one last check on the forum.

    Hi Geoff !!
I was seeing my parents today, and took some time hanging in the garden, making a few shots.

here it is. I'm sad i didn't get the head well focused, but I really like the Pollen on its legs and the few drops just under...

    Rose Garden

I headed out to a local park this morning and snapped some pictures of their rose garden which is in full bloom. I am currently in the process of uploading all 155 photos to my webpage, I have about 30% of them uploaded so please feel free to check them out heres the link! None of these pictures have been edited at all, good old fashioned straight from the camera, no resizing at all.

    White Geranium

    Hi Folks

Really enjoying all your new shots of bees, roses, frogs, orchids, geraniums
Here's a white form of the hardy geranium Geoff and Alkaphunk posted. There are so many types of these - I think Geoff's was a wild one - really like the red edges to the leaves?

Canon A80, outdoors, no flash, handheld, Zoom, Macro and Program AE modes, Ap f/8, Exp 1/1250s, exposure compensation -2/3.

    regards

Alkaphunk - Love your Bee shot - I wish mine could have stayed still a bit longer so I could have got a better shot. Also - was the other flower also a small one?? Don't recognise it - looks good tho.
    Great pics everyone!

    Loveflower

I think the shape of this flower pretty much says how I feel about flowers in general.
