    Dennis, those flower shots are amazing. To tell you the truth, I'm a little jaded toward flower shots but that first one in post 3385 is unforgettable. I might like the composition of the in-focus portion to be just a bit more toward the center, but it is a beautiful shot as-is.

    Yeah, I used a fill flash for that one, but did lower the flash compensation enough apparently.

    Lots and lots of tiny wild flowers in the woods today! All these flowers were very small (half inch across) so I had so crop some:

    Thanks Tori. To be honest flowers are not really my favourite subject either, but using the macro lens is a lot of fun. I can't wait till the bugs start appearing again, since I find these more interesting to shoot.

    That picture was also my personal favourite. Thanks for the suggestion for a different crop. I actually cropped a bit of the right side to shift the in focus portion to the right third of the image. I will give another crop a try.

    Used a diffused fill flash (integrated with GF Puffer) and it made the petals sparkle, kind of neat I thought:
