It has been awhile since I posted in here also. This is from September, not sure what model this flower is, but one that looks good printed out.

    The Roses Collection

For those who like roses, I have finally uploaded about 25 photos taken at the Portland Rose Garden last May (yeah I'm a little slow sometimes). Each photo is labeled with the name of the rose. This is only about 20% of the collection at this garden. If you get up to Portland this is a must visit, and the price is right (free). I will be posting a few more shots in this gallery as I sort through my notes.

    Enjoy.

Thanks Geoff, It was a nice day and a nice break. Since Portland is my 3rd home I wish I could spend more time shooting there. Maybe next spring I'll get back to re-shoot Silver falls, Hood River, and Seaside.

I have about 7 more shots to upload on this one, and then it's back to the desert...

    Nice gallery Geo!
I spent a few days there this past spring and summer also. There are so many varieties of roses, it's hard to decide what not to shoot!!!

Thanks for the compliment. The Roses on my site are only about 20% of the varieties available, and I shot about 150 others that I took notes on, but can't find my notes.

Anyway it was a fun outing. Like I said, a lot easier than shooting the desert.
