Geoff, thank you. You always say the nicest things, and it's appreciated more than you know.

I really wish I had my manual with me. It would be nice to work along with it so I get a better idea of what I'm doing. I may have to bite the bullet and just print it all out from online, and then just buy my brother a new printer carteridge (or two).

I love the carnation shots!! Unfortunately, we don't have any carnations here, so I'll have to stick with the morning glories and the wild flowers.

    Anne,
There is no doubt in my mind you can take a great photo.
I have no idea how much you know about the techy side of it
but it doesn't have to be that complecated.
I am quite happy to feed you morsels of A-200 info via e-mail
if you think it will help - it wouldn't take much for you to get
    experimenting.
    keep posting the great shots
    Geoff

    Thanks again Geoff,

I will take you up on that email offer....... if I can even figure out what it is I should be asking. You are correct...... I know virtually nothing about the technical aspects of photography. When I was shooting 35mm I didn't know anything then either. Was very content shooting mostly on auto.

Anyhow, for you my friend, as well as everyone here who shares their friendship and talents with the rest of us
