Next my PP/Edit version - not much changed, just cropped to a portrait and a slight curves tweak, minimal USM
I know, I have said myself - the A-200 works better at F5.6 with these sorts of shots.

This one is from last years blooms - taken with the Olympus C-740
Which takes at 38mm macro - so more DOF
    ISO 100, 500th sec (brighter day) F3.5
Sorry If this was a bit long winded - but I would appreciate comments good or bad. On reflection I feel the A-200 renders nicer fine detail, and I need to practice more with it (F5.6 would have helped for a start, or maybe even a totally different approach???)

Nice pics Geoff. I like the sweet peas, so simple yet so beautiful.

Here is a photo of an azalia bloom at my home in Tennessee last time we were there in April. This pic comes around on my screen saver and, well, I like it.

    Feedback please:

    Me again...
I know these aren't really flowers, but for some reason I just love this shot.
We were taking the tour at Hearst Castle in California (highly recommend it!!!)
in July, and took this looking up the hill. The palm tree just seemed framed so neatly by the tangerines, I couldn't resist.
