Jeff I found your shots of the pink/purple small flower (looking a bit same as the one i posted a few days before are very graphic !
That's really nice, i like it.
Did you post-treat them a bit ? Or is it something else, giving this graphic effect (very cropped or something) ?
Thanks AlkaPhunk for your comments.
I've said with my pics if they have been cropped or not. No post-treatments have been applied on them. Only framming and resize.
Gerbera. I've been watering and watching this for a week or so - putting it out in the sunshine during the day etc. It lives in it's pot in our kitchen.
So I photographed it this evening - in the window with the light slightly behind. Actually I liked the lighting as it was not too vivid or contrast - but it was a bit behind it. Also it was a touch low lighting. 20th sec, F3.5, 100asa, 200mm ~ just into the macro range and, of course, Antishake. Shallow depth of field results in the petals at the bottom a bit off focus - but I'm happy with it. It's not a perfect specimen - but its ours and we like it.
Comments??
I thought I had gotten past flowers, but I seem to favor these kind of pics the most.( I thing it is because they stay still for me.)
Anyway, here is another one. This is ,I believe, a passion flower.
