    Superb images.

    I recently got a new Macro lens and today, for the first time, I got a chance to play
    So
    This image is straight off the camera - only processing is the re-size in CS3.
    (Actually - I am amazed these flowers are still going on so well - we got them in the middle of Summer!!!!)

    Your flower too magnificent. In Ukraine they are called "Chornobrivtsi". There is a remarkable Ukrainian song with this name. Links to clips of this song below. I will try to translate to you a song refrain:

    Your christmas cactus looks to be doing well. I always find them to be tough macro subjects since the blooms have such depth.
