Still messing with the Tamron 28 - 200, which doesn't focus as close as my
17 - 70 Sigma - this shot is one of several I took of some Narcissus we have around the house.
Nice DOF and composition. Looks underexposed to me.

I'll blame the wind for not quite hitting focus but I'm still happy with this

Yeah - I looked at that - however as soon as I addressed it the subtle colour in the flower disapeared and became a sort of white instead of a very pale yellow..
Yours looks really nice
Thanks, next time I'll hit it with a flash from underneath though.

Welcome to the forum Ali.

Ok....the game is on. Finally got some sunshine here on the island and spring is here (even tho it snowed overnight just south of me, and up in the mountains).
I put in some more bulbs today and weeded. Had to grab a few quick daffy's, even tho they leave a lot (for me anyway) composition wise. Nothing like working in the garden wearing speedos to lift ones spirit
A bunch of yellers, one with a skeeter ready to suck blood
Some whites....
And a closer up (of white) using the sun to back light it....
