Thanks for the advice, Erad. As I said, you seem to be taking some nice pics with it. I have heard the front element rotates on that lens. Do you find that in any way bothersome, or do you even notice?

Went out flower hunting again today . Here is the harvest. First, an almost flowering Teasel, with a spider web and a drop: And a Teasel that has started to flower: Staying with prickly purple-ish wildflowers, a Bull Thistle: Mostly purple, but with a bit of yellow (Nature has obviously been reading up on the theory of complimentary colors) a Bitter-Sweet Nightshade: So much for my purple harvest .
