    Yes it is and thanks ... ... poor girl had just gotten home from the Vets office for her annual checkup.

    my girls

    the fluffy one, astro, is a bernese mt. dog/border collie mix. she was shot at:
    Shooting Mode: Fast Shutter; 1/60; Aperture: 2.8; everything else auto

    the sleek one, molly, is a hyperactive labrador retriever
    Shooting Mode: Kids&Pets; 1/60; Aperture: 4.0; everything else auto

    both with my powershot a95 around sunset. i think the flash was on, but apparently red-eye reduction doesn't work on dogs. i know astro's tongue is "blown" and as soon as i learn some photo retouching i'll try to fix that and the green-glowing eyes on molly. i've got "the gimp" and photoimpressions (comes with the a95) and i'm devoting a little time to playing with them. there is a learning curve...
