    Glad to have helped
As genece said, ISO400 shots would probably look even better. Also, did you try playing with the exposure compensation?

I was sitting closer to the stage than I was last time so I don't know if that was a factor as well. I tried not to zoom as much but I did get in a few at 12X zoom. The images were much sharper this time, hardly any blurriness. I would post one for you to see, but I don't know how. Okay, I'm ready, now bring on the next concert!
That's great! Yes, try out ISO400 and NeatImage to do noise reduction and you'll have beautiful pictures!

Glad to hear that your results are improving! Myself and I am sure others that have helped with suggestions would like to see some of the pictures, I use webshots.com to upload pictures then post the link to my album here for the members to go look, maybe when you have some extra time you could do that?

    Hi Jcon

I joined webshots and I'm attempting to post some photos from the concert here. I'm not sure how you get the link to your album in webshots in this post so I just copied it here.

Let me know if you were able to view them and if there is a better way to post them.

The pictures here of a Fashion show my wife took in total auto mode and the ISO set on 400 . they are staight from the camera. In fact all the photos on this page have had nothing done to them. I posted them for that reason.

I took some pics at my friend's concert.
Most of them were blurry, but what I did was use burst fire mode at infinity.
I just took around 80 shots total during his 3 minute performance. About 10% of them came out great
    Here's a sample pic..
