Great Flower Super Close-up
Here is a great flower (rhododendrums) close-up taken with a Nikon D-70 with a Macro Nikkor 60mm mounted on it. I hope you enjoy it and very much appreciate your comments.

Looks pretty nice to me. What kinda lighting was taking place at the time, maybe an 1/3 f-stop increase might a brought out a little more detail ...

It was a very overcast day, quite like you might expect in Oregon.

Ah, "rhoddies in the rain." It certainly does remind me of spring in Oregon, Sarah. I would think rhododendrum macros are difficult to shoot because of the clustering of blossoms--something tends to get in the way of what you want to emphasize in the composition. Very challenging!

Hey I know the feeling for sure. Seems like one out of every seven days the sun comes out here lately.
