    Panasonic camera repair?

OK, so, while the camera isnt an FZ-10/15/20, its still a valid question..

I have my first digital camera, the DMC-LC33. It still works good, except for one thing. The zoom swivel is broken. It just wont zoom anymore (in either photo mode or review mode). SO, anybody have any good advice on where i might get it repaired? It is still a good little camera, and would like to get it working again..

    Thanks!

    LC-33 repair

I also have an LC-33 in addition to my FZ3. Fortunately, neithere of my cameras has needed a repair so far.

I don't know where you are located, but there should be some information in your owner's manual as to where you can have it repaired. Panasonic recently returned their US repair facility from Mexico back to Elgin, Illinois. I don't know why they moved it to Mexico, or why they moved it back, but it's back here now. You might want to try some local photo shops where you live. Most of them probably won't do any repair on the premises, but they should be able to tell you where to find a reputable repair shop in your area. The other alternative would be to send it directly to Panasonic, which will probably be a lot more expensive. Good luck, and I hope you can find a place to get it repaired economically.
