when did you get the camera?
are you happy with it?
congrats on your first conversion. What did you use to convert it?
I tried DPP, but everytime it loads, it just brings up a windows error box and shuts the program down...

I got it today for $959 Price Match after my local Best Buy finally got me one in to try for 14 days. So far I really like it and can't wait to get outside tomorrow and play around with it more. Give: RawShooter a try and its 100% totally FREE even though it says Trial Version and thanks to George Riehm for providing the link to it.

Used it to clean up the little bit of ISO noise too. Notice the Coffee Cup in the two photos.

Oh, I have that program too, It doesn't work though. It doesn't detect any of my raw files. If I click on the folder, nothing comes up. If I right click on the file and choose RSE it opens up the program and gives an error stating that the file is being used by another program???
C1 has been removed, and CS doesn't do the raw format, so what other program other than DPP which has never successfully opened a raw file could be using it? I will try to open it in safe mode and see if something is interfeering.

You might need to uninstall some apps and start over.

how did you get bestbuy to let you try out a digital slr?

I bought it for $959 but they have a 14 day return policy and they have been very accommodating with me on all my purchases. No problem getting them to ad match even some on line prices.
