    Shot out of plane window

    Hey,

This photo was taken out of a window of a plane on a recent vacation. I thought these clouds were amazing, so I took out my p&s Fuji, as my D70 would have probably been too conspicuous . 1/480 @ f/4.8. Critism welcome!

    Andrew-

That is a great cloud photo. I never hesitate on an airplane. If needed I just haul out my 20D. My D-70 is due to arrive the end of next week.

    Hi Andrew-

Yep, I am really looking forward to the D-70. I just ordered the 12-24 Nikon zoom to go with it.

Good shot. I shott from the plane window (when I get a clean window) all the time with the D70. Not a problem. There are some wonderful shots to be had and one of these days I'll post some up on smugmug (I have about 1000 to go through).
    D7000, D70, CP990, CP900, FE + a lens or 6.

This is my "shot out the plane window" one month after 9-11. My daughter was in the seat closest to the window on a 52 passenger jet. I leaned over and snapped this on a Sony Mavica. I couldn't even see what I was taking a picture of. This was a "hope and pray" shot that worked out!

Time to start an Aerial Photos Thread. If you transfer to the new thread remeber to delete the old entry.
