I always love looking at all these cats posted here - some great shots I must say

here are a few of Oliver taken today - very cold damp and grey day
manually twiddled the camera to try and help the situation
These are all way too slow shutter speeds for the focal length
    IE - 2nd post is 20th sec at 200mm (=300 equiv)

This is Scooter. He showed up at the house and made himself at home. Nobody came looking for him so we let him stay.

    VR 55-200, FL 160mm, ISO 400, 1/50s, f/5.3, Auto

This is Shredder, he is being a bad cat. He's in the kitchen sink. He's got hot and cold evil cat eyes.

It's hard to get god pictures of him. I thought his eyes looked cool and, the highlights and shadows make this shot.

Thanks Geoff. Scooter is good about letting me take his picture. Oliver looks like he has his Winter coat.

This is my baby - she passed away last year not long after this photo was taken. She was 11 years old. She was the antithesis of photogenic! Anytime I pulled out a camera she got a scowl on her face. This photo was taken with my iPhone. It's a bit blurry but to me it's a masterpiece because of my love for her. I miss you Kiki.

Sorry for your loss. My one cat is 17+ years and no health issues. But I am still enjoying every day she is with me assuming it will be her last.

Did you get another cat? I always recommend that as the best medicine to heal the hurt.

I have this half-baked theory that my pets who have passed reincarnate into the one I get afterward. And also that when we pass, all our pets will be "there" to greet us. ["there" being the good place and not where some of you may be going. ]

I wonder if cats misbehave in heaven like they did when around the house.
My 15 minutes of fame was an appearance [and SUPERB "performance"] on COPS.
