Wow - I thought it was a trick of the light in the first one - but is that the claws or the pads that are bright red??
Can you get a close up of those paws??

Not quite! They're something called Soft Paws, they're vinyl covers that glue over the nails - stops scratching (they originally came out in the USA as an alternative to declawing I think, which is quite cruel as it means removing the first joint of the toe too)
Kittycat is all the way up in Scotland back with the nice views unfortunately but this pic shows them a bit closer

Love Petes face looking directly at you and, yes, Depth of field control is great on that shot. Little pete looks sort of terrified - is he a very scaredy cat - we had one like that once
    Nice shots indeed
Little Pete is usually pretty bold for a cat.......except when it comes to cameras and vacuum cleaners.

That's interesting - I have never seen or heard of these before, clever idea actually. Do they come in different colours and are they easy to fit on??

Ah sorry, called Soft Claws for cats, Soft Paws are the doggy version.

My brother said the cat just laid there while he put them on - the daft thing turns into a ragdoll when you pick him up and lets you do anything with him, though I know some cats can be a bit more difficult about having their paws touched!
