Trucic, as always, sharp, clear pictures, of, if I may say, two beautiful little kittens. The last two photos have captured delightful expressions.
Hankbeblazin, Toby, your ginger tom, is also beautiful and the detail revealed by the D40 is stunning!
Luis, that's a great shot of a black cat in full sunlight (high contrast situation), what did you use to take the photo?
Below, two more photos of Ariella, taken with the Fuji S5700, both hand-held.
First photo is of Ariella hard at work on my computer!
(Shooting mode: Programmed auto, 1/45sec, F3.5, ISO800, 8.7mm, Metering: Pattern, WB: Daylight White Fluorescent Lamp, Flash: Forced flash slow synchro, in macro mode, normal sharpness, Exposure/Focus: Auto)
Second photo is of Ariella also hard at work, catching sheep (to mix a metaphor )
(Shooting mode: Programmed auto, 1/8sec, F3.5, ISO800, 7.4mm, Metering: Pattern, WB: Daylight White Fluorescent Lamp, Flash: Forced flash slow synchro, in macro mode, normal sharpness, Exposure/Focus: Auto)
cheers,
Benjamin

Here's a couple new ones. I did a little HDR on the second one to keep the carpet from blowing out. Not a very good picture, but I still found it funny.

I could tell you but I wouldn't want you to get all pissy if it's the wrong brand
Here's my new male kitten. I named him Maddox but I don't l want something different. He's very active (even my kitten standards), extremely affectionate and his eyes are gold with green centers. Any suggestions?
