This is our cat Buddy. He likes to be with you so long as you aren't using the vacuum cleaner.

Hank, great shot and you seem to like B&W a lot as I see.

Very nice capture. To me, it shows an emotional bond.

Here is my cat Spanky. I took this picture of him on a trip to Africa. He doesn't cuddle much but cats are like that.

    First Go At This...

I've decided to learn a bit about about the mechanics of photography and what better place to pick up tips than an online forum.

Here's a random pic of my kitty taken in low light with no flash.

This is Kisses, she's a Norwegian Forest Cat.
    My girlfriend's Norwegian, too.

    Taken with 20D, ambient lighting, at 50mm f/1.8, 1/30, ISO 3200.
It helps to nail the exposure and avoid noise.

    Smile Ariella

    Hey Guys

Great thread and great cat photos! Here are two photos of my moggy, close-up and personal!
(Taken on a borrowed camera: Ricoh Caplio GX 5MP 3x zoom, in macro mode, with ambient lighting through the window and auto-flash, 5.8mm, F/2.5, 1/32sec, they are some of the first photos of Ariella that I've taken!)
