Our friends have just got another kitten - so I took a few photos
I was really happy with the results though! - it was in there front room in the
evening and I didn't use flash - so it was ISO1000, F5.6 and 20th sec &
utilising the VR
I just got a kitten myself. Lil Oatis is 10 weeks old and he's damn near impossible to get a shot of because 90% of the time, he's playing in HYPER SPEED. This is the most high energy cat I've ever owned . Anyway here are a few I took using the 50 1.8 aka Nifty fifty aka Plastic Crap Lens .
EOS 450D (XSi) | Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 XR Di II | 50mm f/1.8 II | 18-55mm IS f/3.5-5.6 | 55-250mm IS f/4-5.6 | Speedlight 430EX II
I was just testing two new lenses on the D80: flash use with my old Helios 44-2 (with a M42Nikon adapter) - on our self bagged house cat...
... and the new Sigma 70-300 DG APO just baought today which suposedly should have hunted in the crappy light available. Well, it didn't and I even caught a street kitten waiting for some goodies from my wife!
