The KoopaBros - that is a beautiful grey cat you got there - lovely images.
Here's a shot I posted in the Nikon Photo of the day thread.
As usual - Oliver's privacy is invaded - this time with me trying out
a new lens - Nikon 16 - 85 VR - just seeing how effective the VR might be...
1/4 sec hand held at 72mm (=108 equiv, so 100th sec should be the slowest)
f5.6 and ISO200
It seems to remain sharp and unshakey - so I guess the VR works well
Just a quick shot I snapped of our kitten the other day, first post on this thread and nothing flash but she does this cute thing with her mouth and I caught it.
Her name is Sakura for those who care and she is a rescued cat that was abandoned and wild left to fend for herself out there and we gave her a home, she is slowly getting used to us now and we can have cuddles without shredded clothing

Thanks. Nice result for 1/4s, I think I got a 1/6s shot with a VR on my camera too. Not easy to do, but it comes in handy.

I was lucky enough to attend a birthday party yesterday for five tigers that turned one-year old yesterday. Here's one playing with one of her presents. The hosts, the Mirage Hotel & Casino and Siegfried & Roy even had a birthday cake with 5 tigers on it. There are more photos on my flickr page, including one of Siegfried and Roy with the cake, if anyone wants to check them out. Eventually, I'll add even more photos.
