Waterfall under the "Bat Cave," Logan Canyon, Northern Utah, USA

This is the first time I've ever taken pictures of a waterfall. I learned a lot! Please give me comments and criticism on my composition, technique, etc.

I printed those two photos, and I was very disappointed. The whitest spots look fine to me on the monitor, but on the print they just look overexposed, a flat white. Would it help if I under-exposed the shot a little? Any other suggestions?

    Wife's Panasonic FZ30.
Need to speed up the shutter speeds. First attemps with waterfalls. I used two nd filters, a 1 stop and a 3 stop I believe. Used the self timer to let the shutter off. On the review screen they did not look so burned up. I ran them through photoshop and set the levels, the highlights to 250 from 255. Added 15 to the saturation and did a little with the unsharp mask. Sized to 800x600 and quality to 10 to get the size requirements for the forum.

Please post your comments and suggestions.
I believe I have my monitor fairly calibrated, but if I'm mistaken, please let me know if what I did with the pp was bad.

    shutter speed: 4 sec
    Apeture Value: f11.0
    ISO sensitivity: ISO80
    Exposure +/-: 0.00
    White Balance: Auto
    Quality: standard.
    Manual Exposure mode.

Toriaj those are some nice shots. Did you use a tripod? Its a little blurry...and I think a tripod might have helped. Nice colors and I like the velvet water
