Hi guys - think your shots are fantastic! Like Jeff, not sure if this will be considered appropriate, but I think it's interesting anyway. Just liked the the ripples on the water & the tiny spurt from the fountain. Let me know what you think, please...

This was taken in a local park - have put it in B&W in processing for dramatic effect (background was too distracting otherwise). Anyone else got any little waterfalls to post?

In St. Mary's, Ontario, Canada, two rivers come together at a place where there is a two meter drop. Here is an overview shot:


This is taken from the other side:


And finally a close-up, with a shady seagull:

The usual thing is to take a longer shutter speed to create a sense of movement, but I rather like the pattern formed by the "frozen" water.

i agree Gerard, i like the frozen look, nice captures. It's cool how all those birds are lined up at the top.
