Yeah. After using apertures over f/16, I don't see their point. Shots are horribly soft at such apertures, even with a good lens. f/16, for me, seems to project a large enough DOF for most purposes.

I bought a new camera. It's very advanced - you don't even need it. ~Steven Wright

We have had a rainy Spring in north Georgia (USA) so our falls are finally back in form. Decided to take a hike up to Raven Creek Falls. Here is a pano of one of the lower falls.

    Raven Falls, Georgia, USA

The main portion of Raven Falls is difficult to photograph as it falls about 30-40 feet deep inside a split between two 60 foot granite slabs. It is best after a good rain as it is near the head waters of the creek.

Thanks Adam. It's up north near Redwood NP. We were up there visiting my gf's family.

Elisha I think that you got the right shutter speed for that one. I am not sure if I like the color shift in the light from top to bottom.

    Vernal Falls, Yosemite NP

The clouds broke for about 10 minutes during heavy snow on a hike to Vernal Falls in December.

Vernal Falls isn't exactly raging this time of year I guess. Yosemite looks amazing in the snow though. Nice shot.
