    New Brighton lighthouse, across the river from Liverpool. I don't think it is used anymore.

    Taken in January this year on a freezing cold night. Fuji S3 and Sigma 17-70 lens. Exposure was about 4.5 minutes at f8 I think. It looks a bit ghostly because I filtered out the sodium light pollution from across the river which was the only light on the lighthouse. On another version of this I have cloned out the streaks of white light on the right which was a boat going into Liverpool.



    I hope it fits the bill.
