    Elisha82, Rtronic, TO6, and RussL,

    Thanks for the terrific posts. We always forget about the Great Lakes, but they really are inland seas. I was born in a town of 13,000 on the banks of Lake Michigan and love to go back to visit uncles and cousins every so often...

    ... And the east coast lights are unique.

    Again keep em comming.

    Pt. Fermin Lighthouse Historical Landmark, near San Pedro, California. Built in 1874, it was a radar facility during and briefly after WWII.

    Special K,

    Nice wide angle shots. Maybe I do need that 12-24... or 10-20.

    They look great but have you tried correcting the barrel distortion?

    Hi George;

    Thanks for the nice comment. But no, I would never "correct" fisheye distortion. That is why I bought the lens :-)

    Don't get me wrong, as I like the fisheye effect in the second two close-quarters shots, but the first shot might benefit from correction... or not.

    I like the "coziness" of the curves, but here's a square one for ya. Sigma 18-50 at 18. It leans in because I'm pointing up a little. I was even on a bench to get a bit higher. Where's the tilt-and-shift when you need it?

    Thanks for both versions. There is something about the whole scene that I like either way.

    Kev, did you accidentally keep your whitebalance on incandescent or are the colours so cool on purpose?
