Since I'm too cheap to rent a plane, I thought that this scale overview might work. Since it was shot at 1/50sec handheld, and kitchen lighting...

P.S. I'm still looking for a lighthouse in Phoenix...

Sandy Hook, NJ. Built in 1764. This was my first outing with my Rebel XT using the included lens. The photo was taken in full auto mode. 1/500sec, F16, ISO 400.

So here it is. Not in Phoenix, but Gilbert, AZ (a better place). This is the new St. Georges Light, on the shore of Pebbletec Bay. I am the kleeper of this light (although the accomodations are a bit cramped). It is solar powered and fully automated.

Sorry, I took some liberties on the Saint thing. Not even close.

D70, Sigma 18-125, 1/125, f5.6, 78mm, etc.

Hey Sarah,

Thanks for your kind words. This tiny lighthouse is in Nova Scotia, just across an inlet from where I stayed. The sunsets there are just amazing. Sorry about the image quality, it gets so bad when I downsize for posting.
