    Krystal Friday

    man this chick is awesome.

    here's two quick ones. shot with her saturday. it was freezing out(50 degrees haha but like 20+mph wind).

    40d & 17-55mm f/2.8

    first at f/22

    second at probably f/8-11 or somewhere around there. used the vagabond and the fotodiox 600w/s strobes.

    both photoshopped, the first i took out flare and the second just skin smoothed a bit. everything else processed through lightroom.

    lemme know what y'all think.

    That second one is AWESOME!!!!! maybe a little more skin detail would be nice.... but dang, you're good at this stuff.

    man i'ma have to look at this on another monitor. i had a feeling my laptop monitor was a little dark. it's calibrated, but i swear it's darker than normal.

    I am hopeless at portraits, unless they are candid. I just lack the skills to get "on side" with the subject, I need to work on that

    Awesome shots! The first really has that feel like you'd see it in a clothing store on a big poster.

    I'm due for a calibration too.... and my monitor is a cheap acer.... so don't take my word for it.
