When using my Digital Rebel & a Canon 75-300mm I am getting a Err 01 (Clean the Lens contacts), I was advised by Canon to use an Eraser which I did and no change. The problem happens quite often sometimes and not so often at other times. I suspect the Lens is the problem, but it could be the camera or battery I guess! The problem doesn't happen with the EFS 18-55mm lens, but that lens is used under different conditions. Of course,the problem seems to happen just when you have the shot you want & it is very frustrating. I would like to hear if anyone else has had a similar problem or some ideas on the matter. Thanks
