    sony t-1 lens

Can anyone tell me if Sony t-1 has plastic or glass lenses? I was going to buy today but one of the salesmen told me that it might have plastic ones, due to the size and the fact that it operates inside.

Do the words full-of-crap ring a bell? Zeiss and Sony designers would sooner die than use plastic. Internal zoom components have to be top notch, not cheap.

What was the salesperson trying to sell you instead?

    Change stores.

Well he was trying to sell me pentax optio s5i. I was having a hard time choosing between t1 and s5i so he started trashing sony. I just need a camera for some vacation pix and nothing more. I'm mostly going for the size and decent pix so I went with Pentax for now.
