Google+ is fairly straightforward. It's Facebook for sensible people imo.
To people who a new to G+ have a look around and join some additional communities either ones that relate to your photography or that relate to your interests and life. Make sure that you start following people and you will be surprised about the numbers of followers and views you get.
To those who are joining the DCRP Group (unofficial) if I muck things up and don't add you it's not personal so I will try to correct any errors I make. I'm new to this group admin thing.

I am on Google+... but, I have no shots up. It is a transition period for my PC... burp on the "C" drive. I wish they made a Operating System HD that simply could not fail and allow access to all your other HDs attached. It's always one burp and adios everything, until you rebuild or migrate.

Look, I did not create the optical laws of the Universe ... I simply learned to deal with them.
Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.

I will be traveling (in the middle of nowhere) with no internet for a few days and haven't made a G+ account yet. I'll try and join some time in the next few weeks. I will probably still be raven15, unless some raven15 impostor has already taken it. In that case it will probably be similar. See everyone on the other side!

Quick question to you all: do you want a link at the top of the forums (or wherever) pointing people toward the new site, or should it be "members only"?

I'd be happy for you to put a link on here Jeff.
How about you signing up yourself?

Goodbye everyone - thanks for the memories, and all the fish. Maybe I'll drop by the other forum sometime.
